As hard as it may seem right now, you can get these plans back on track.
Try not to spend time dwelling on what might have been: accept what the situation is with the planned that has changed and try to be proactive.
For example, many airlines and hotels are compensating travelers and guests. It’s unlikely that a refund or change of dates will magically remove all the feelings of disappointment but they do take the sting out of it.
The more you can assert yourself, the more able you are to manage the effects of the virus rather than the virus managing you.
