How do I cope with the fear that the world will never go back to normal?

We are indeed in a time of massive uncertainty. However, it might be helpful to remind yourself that we, as a human race, have shown a lot of resilience across time.

We have been through a lot of incredibly challenging times—wars, pandemics, recessions, and the like. While it can be scary to think about all of that history, at the same time, it can be helpful to reflect on the fact that we were able to get through them. In many cases, they led to medical advances, the development of new industries, and people really stepping up to support one another through difficulty.

While I would obviously strongly prefer that we were not in this situation at all, I am comforted by the knowledge we have endured difficult times in the past, and that as a group, we will be able to survive this too.

I really enjoyed the read this morning that was given to me to help me through the pandemic. I do feel much stronger and more positive and able to just go on and live each day and take what comes at us Lord and just try to be helpful to someone else that may be going through the same thing
