As someone at risk, how do I go about my life while in constant fear about getting the virus?

Focus on what's in your control.

You can practice strict social distancing and stay home. And you can focus on taking care of yourself and incorporating healthy habits, like exercise, healthy eating, lots of sleep, and maintaining your social connections digitally and otherwise.

Ultimately those practices can not only lower your risk of getting the illness, but also improve your mindset and serve as coping strategies for your fears, which are totally legitimate. The goal is to not let fear prevent you from taking the necessary steps to keep yourself healthy—mentally and physically.
