The answer to this question depends on a few things.
First is the local context. If you’re in a location in which the disease is spreading widely, then you’ll probably want to stay home.
Also, if you are in a high risk category, then you should be more conservative about going out.
And of course, if you are experiencing any of the symptoms related to the virus, then staying home would be the prudent thing to do.
The main parameters for keeping social distance according to the CDC are to stay 6-10 feet away from other people. So, if you go for a walk around the block, or even on a trail where there are not a lot of people, you should be fine, as the virus won’t have the opportunity to move from person to person.
Exercise is also an excellent way to manage stress, so getting your body moving, as long as you're maintaining social distance, is a positive thing to do.
